From the Marion Square Farmers’ Market this morning:

These vibrant spears of tender asparagus will be wrapped in prosciutto and served picnic-style tomorrow at Middleton Place during the Spoleto Festival USA finale concert, along with some ripe melon, pickled okra, goat cheese with fig preserves, sweet corn and heirloom tomatoes—all purchased this morning at the farmers’ market.

If you suddenly have a craving for fresh asparagus, here is a short list of local restaurants serving this seasonal delight. Enjoy!
